Alice in Telegram Land

Have you ever heard of Alice in Wonderland? Now it’s time to image or generate images with Alice in Telegram Land. There are many chatbots on AI, but the Russian outlet of PC News says that, “The Most Popular Content Bot on Telegram: @pic From Yandex Has Learned To Generate Images «Of Alice AI».”

What makes Alice popular is that she’s the voice of Russia’s top search engine Yandex. The company responsible for Alice has departed that sanctioned land. Nevertheless, she is a babushka at heart, and she wants to be the equivalent of Siri, Alexa, and Google. The Russians who don’t love Google have some affection for Alice. She can now generate images.

Here’s how it works:

“The [Telegram mini app or desktop app] user will need to write a message in the input field »@pic» and press the «Draw a picture with Alice AI» button. Then enter a text request and click «Generate». The image can be immediately sent to the chat. Previously, the bot’s functionality made it possible to select images from search results, but now it is possible to generate unique images using a neural network «Alice AI».”

However, Alice now has an additional hurdle to overcome and it is not one of the Silicon Valley BAIT or big AI tech outfits. The Kremlin has been making it more difficult and more risky to use Telegram. Max is now what a Russian must use. However, if one wants to risk a fine or a bit of time in Siberia, a Russian Telegram user can use a VPN, live near the border of a country whose cell service extends into Russia, buy a Starlink-type service, or use a satellite phone purchased and registered to a friend in a country where the Kremlin’s edicts are ignored.

Non-Russian users may find the Yandex.ru site easier to use. Click on the link for Alice and you may get access. Our tests reveal that sometimes Alice does not function for users in rural Kentucky. It does, however, if we use a VPN and route through a country in sync with Russia.
