Elon Musk says AI is evil!? ?Okay, that sounds about musk-right. That’s taking the information out of context.? ? According to eWeek, Musk claimed that a specific AI is evil: “Elon Musk Slams Anthropic AI as ‘Evil’ After $380B Valuation.”? ? Musk has his nose out of joint because Anthropic is now worth $380 billion after a successful $30 billion fundraising round.? ? Musk called Anthropic “evil and misanthropic,” mostly likely because he’s jealous of the money.? ? Musk threw a tempter tantrum and said Anthropic were biased against demographic groups: Whites, Asians, men, and heterosexuals.
It also points to a important change in the AI company race: “AI competition is no longer just about models and benchmarks. It is about ideology, branding, and who gets to define what “safe” or “fair” AI really means.”
There’s also this big thought:
“Musk’s attack highlights a growing divide in how AI leaders talk about safety and fairness. Some companies prioritize guardrails and content moderation as core features.
